Why not sponsor a biogas unit. This way you or your club can be more personally involved with helping the rural families in Nakuru.
Your sponsored biogas unit will have a plaque with your, or your clubs name, you will also receive a photo of the beneficiary and a certificate of appreciation.
You can pledge US$1050 or A$1650 Via the Rotary Foundation to the Biogas for Nakuru Project – this can be done via an online pledge form or by email to rotarynomadsfoundation@gmail.com
Of course, you can always pledge or donate any amount you like!
Pledges become due within 6 months of Global Grant approval. For Rotarians, donations will count toward your foundation giving. Donations to the Rotary Foundation Global Grant are also tax deductible if made in Australia
Alternatively, The Rotary Nomads now have an account set up for taking Biogas donations directly to the project. This does not count as Foundation giving and is not tax deductible, but all the money will go directly to the project. Donations must be in Australian dollars. For Donations of A$1650 or more your name will be proudly displayed on your biogas unit’s plaque and you will also receive a photo of the beneficiary at handover and a certificate of appreciation.
